This is what I'm calling Chapter 2 and I still love the title because before 2009 there was so much our eyes were NOT open to, but now let's talk about WHAT WE'VE SEEN! God has taken us places we never wanted to go, but would go back again. Whatever it is, I desire to be authentic and transparent so that my readers really do know that NOW WE SEE! ~The Pyle Family

A Perfect Saturday Morning
We had such a great Saturday last week. We were able to skype with our kids at The Covering. We don't always understand them and they don't always understand us, but it is true that love flows across all languages. These kids do not yet know of our intentions to adopt them, but one thing that was clear several times during our conversation was them referring to Fran and Me as "mom and dad". Fran was behind me in the camera and Sam was very quick to say "hi dad". I just can't believe how God has prepared everyone's hearts for this very time.
Other exciting news...we had our first visit for our home study tonight! Please continue to pray for us as we go through this process. I am believing for a speedy time frame for the home study/immigration to be processed and for favor in Sierra Leone when TRS meets with the government in just a few weeks to discuss adoption.

Praying for you!!! How exciting about the home study getting underway. And I just love knowing that Sam, Betty, and Fallah are already calling you mom and dad! I believe God is preparing their hearts for what they will be hearing in a week.
ReplyDeleteGreat news! So happy for you and for the kiddos.

Wow that is so awesome! God is with you through this and will accomplish His plans!!! So excited to watch this story unfold one day at a time! Wow the kids all love you all so much! I love in Ephesians 1 I think where it talks about how great God's love is for us and how it gives God such great joy when we are adopted into his family. I think I love adoptions so much because it's like a picture of God's love for us as orphans and then our love for the orphan. It's such a beautiful picture of God's grace!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Thanks for the beautful post!
